Frequently Asked Questions

You can enter a domain name (example.com), full URL (https://example.com/page), hostname (mail.example.com), FQDN, or email address (user@example.com). The tool automatically extracts the domain for analysis.
When enabled (default), the tool performs real-time DNS and WHOIS lookups for the most current data. Disabling it uses cached data which is faster but may show is-pending for domains not yet seen.
Domain rank reflects the relative popularity and traffic of a domain. A rank of 0 means the domain is unranked or has insufficient data for ranking.
Blocklists show the names of databases that have flagged the domain. Sensors provide more detailed information including the specific blocklist source and a description of why the domain was flagged.
A domain shows as pending when the system hasn't processed it before and live checks are disabled. Enable the live option to get current status for any domain.
