If only the width is specified, the height is automatically calculated to preserve the original image's aspect ratio.
Three modes: Scale (proportional resize), Pad (fit within dimensions with background fill), and Crop (fill dimensions by cropping overflow).
The background color fills empty areas when using pad mode. It defaults to transparent for PNG and black for JPG. You can set any hex color (#RRGGBB).
